SideSync software is the newest innovation in the PC-Mobile solution offered by Samsung. The application enables easy sharing of screens, windows and information effortlessly between your PC and Samsung Android device. This application marks the end of using multiple screens to get done with daily tasks. Sharing and bringing together files and data has been made possible by bridging two devices.
Through simple installation, Samsung users can synchronize their android phone to the PC by connecting via the USB port. Simple steps of different mode sharing are explained through a pop up window after installation to help the user to manage file sharing easier. Moreover, once the setup is completed, sharing settings can be change anytime you want.
The three main features of SideSync are as follows:
Keyboard and mouse sharing mode
When keyboard and mouse sharing mode is selected, you will be able to move the mouse to the mobile screen and the cursor will move from the PC to the mobile screen without a glitch. You can also click on the mobile screen to activate the keyboard and you will be able to type on your mobile with a full-sized keyboard. Thus, you can use the mouse and keyboard conveniently both on your pc and mobile phone simultaneously. Share files between your PC and mobile through drag and drop technique or post on the shared clipboard.
Phone screen sharing mode
When your devices are connected side by side your smart phone screen is visible on your PC screen. You will be able to operate your android device with your PC keyboard and start using your smart phone programs like Free Writing, Pen Mode and more on your PC.
Simultaneous sharing and automatic contents backup mode
Effortlessly share contents between your phone and PC. With a simple drag and drop you can transfer photos, videos, games, music, files and more to their designated folders from the mobile to PC or vice versa.
Mobile data is automatically backed up to PC when connected to SideSync. Additionally, the mobile also recharges automatically upon connecting to the PC using a USB cable.
Samsung SideSync is exclusive to Samsung ATIV Book/One/Tab and is only compatible with Samsung Phones or Tablets running on Jelly Bean Operating System 4.1 or higher.
