Samsung recently unveiled its wearable smartwatch, a wrist-worn touch screen timepiece which is a smartphone accessory. The Galaxy Gear is one of the must have gadgets if you do not want to keep on fetching your phone from your pocket to answer or make phone calls.
As it is positioned on your wrist, you can easily answer incoming calls, track your routine exercise while listening to your favorite music and you can even install your favorite apps on it as well as to keep time.
It is a smartphone accessory that is elegantly designed with multiple functions for total convenience. However, being an accessory, the Galaxy gear is not a phone in its own right, it is dependent on the Smart Relay technology – a Bluetooth connection in order to do its purpose which is compatible with Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition. For Galaxy S4, Galaxy S III, and Galaxy Note II, software updates are needed for compatibility. Availability of the new software depends on local carriers. You may check on your local distributor for the new software update which will run compatible with the gear.
The nifty features of the new Galaxy gear smartwatch include:
Weight – 73.8g
1.63-inch, 320×320-pixel super AMOLED screen display
Single core 800MHz Exynos processor
512MB of RAM
4GB Internal Storage

Metal face and buckle with 6 different colors for the adjustable wrist band.
